Position Overview The Employment Institute, Auberle's nationally recognized workforce development program, places unemployed and underemployed individuals in career-track employment with benefits, impacting future generations. We are expanding in the Central Pennsylvania Region. The Employment Institute Case Manager is a mission-driven role that supports the goals and benchmarks of our young people (ages 18-24) as they embark on career journeys in the healthcare field. Case managers screen and assess participants’ skills and interests for careers, help develop work ethic and soft skills, and address barriers to employment. Case managers demonstrate strong mentoring skills and serve as a positive role model while forming strong working relationships with community partners and employers to help participants maintain employment. Responsibilities Manage a caseload of program participants across two counties, conduct eligibility assessments, collect paperwork and vital documents, perform home visits, and deliver one-on-one case management to identify skills, interests, and barriers to employment. Travel approximately 75% of the time to meet participants in person, support their career readiness, and ensure engagement in the program. Assist participants in developing a strong work ethic, soft skills, and other competencies that increase employability and career advancement potential. Help participants identify and overcome personal or professional barriers to achieve employment goals. Develop, implement, monitor, and adjust individualized case plans; track progress toward goals and provide ongoing guidance. Serve as a dynamic role model and mentor, demonstrating leadership and support throughout participants’ journeys. Collaborate with Auberle staff, employer partners, and community organizations to find innovative solutions and secure high-quality jobs with benefits. Engage with local businesses to foster partnerships and facilitate job placements for participants. Maintain detailed and accurate records of participant progress and services in compliance with Auberle policies and the Commonwealth Workforce Development System (CWDS). Attend team meetings and engage with employer partners to share best practices and strategies for successful program outcomes. Adhere to agency policies, procedures, and federal/state regulations related to case management. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree preferred, but related experience working with young adults will be considered ACT 33/34 and FBI Clearances Valid PA driver’s license, vehicle, and proof of insurance Reliable transportation for frequent travel across multiple counties (approximately 75% of the time) Ability to meet the required skills and abilities described in the role Compensation: $25–$26.50/hour, including medical, dental, and vision coverage for individual and family Note: If you are highly motivated, passionate about the community, and ready to help change the world, apply.
