Position Summary

We are seeking a Full-Time Home Health Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our growing therapy team. This role provides hands-on occupational therapy services to patients in their homes, helping them improve functional abilities, safety, and quality of life under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions as outlined in the plan of care

• Assist patients with improving independence in activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs)

• Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to address strength, coordination, mobility, and functional performance

• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Occupational Therapist

• Accurately document treatment sessions and patient responses in accordance with company and regulatory standards

• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy goals, safety strategies, and home programs

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care

• Maintain compliance with all professional, ethical, and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program (required)

• Active Kansas OTA license through the Kansas Board of Healing Arts (KSBHA) (required)

• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills

• Compassionate, dependable, and self-motivated

• Comfortable working independently in a home health setting

• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license

Requirements

• Valid Kansas OT license
• Reliable Vehicle
• Valid Driver's License
• Must pass a background check
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Ability to maintain a confidential working relationship
• Good personal organizational skills
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Demonstration of satisfactory knowledge and competency for the initial evaluations, delivery of services, treatments, and teaching.
