Position Fitter Location Washington USA Preference for Indian candidates Key Responsibilities Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to determine the layout assembly and installation requirements Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using measuring tools Cut bend weld and fabricate metal components using various hand and power tools Assemble and install mechanical systems such as pipes valves pumps motors bearings etc Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment as needed Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide timely repairs Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years of experience as a Fitter or related role Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and specifications Strong knowledge of welding techniques and metal fabrication methods Ability to use hand and power tools effectively Good physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks Excellent problem-solving skills Attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship Salary Starting salary of $1100 per month negotiable based on experience Working Hours Full-time position with 40 hours per week Overtime may be required based on project demands Benefits We offer competitive pay rates along with opportunities for career growth Note Note This is an English-speaking job Accommodation will not be provided #J-18808-Ljbffr KnowlegeBridge
