Duties include consolidating timesheet information and entering data into payroll databases, calculating paycheck amounts and distributing funds to employee accounts. This role is also responsible for supporting general ledger accuracy through journal entries, account reconciliations, cash receipt processing and expense report review. The position partners with HR to maintain employee records and assist with HR administration.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties as assigned. Bachelor's or associate's degree preferred in business, finance, or accounting.Five years of experience processing payroll.Two years of experience with Deltek Costpoint People DomainLanguage Ability :Read, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Respond effectively to sensitive inquiries. Make persuasive presentations on complex topics as needed.Mathematical Ability :Work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.Reasoning Ability :Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
