Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or related field
- Current and valid School Psychologist certification
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, IEP processes, and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage diverse caseloads
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and interpret test results for students
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP development
- Provide individual and group counseling for students as needed
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to support student learning and wellbeing
- Design and implement behavior intervention plans and progress monitoring
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment
