Production Associate DePanning

Turn Up the Heat on Your Career: Join us as a Production Associate – Depanning! Are you energetic, quick on your feet, and ready to thrive in a high-speed, dynamic production environment?  We are looking for alert and physically capable Production Associates to join our Depanning team in West Sacramento. Stationed at a critical checkpoint right after our industrial ovens, you will be responsible for operating automated machinery, inspecting freshly baked goods, and keeping product moving seamlessly from oven to packaging. If you enjoy hands-on work, operating automated equipment, and taking pride in quality craftsmanship, this is the position for you! What You’ll Be Doing

• DePanning: Monitor DePanning extracting fresh baked goods from pans as they exit the ovens.  
• Quality Inspection: Perform visual checks on products for defects, sticking, or tearing, immediately removing non-conforming items.
• Equipment Verification: Ensure non-stick baking oils are correctly applied to empty pans.
• Food Safety & Cleanliness: Adhere strictly to HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to maintain a clean and safe work area.

What We’re Looking For

• Production Experience: Prior experience in fast-paced food manufacturing, industrial baking, or warehouse lines is preferred.  
• Stamina & Speed: Ability to stand and walk for 8-to-10-hour shifts in a consistently hot, oven-adjacent environment.  
• Physical Capability: Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive bending, twisting, and reaching.  
• Detail-Oriented & Reliable: Sharp visual attention to detail, quick problem-solving skills, and exceptional punctuality.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities: 

• Maintain Line Pace : Ensure fresh bread and pastries transfer smoothly onto cooling conveyors heading toward the packaging department without creating backlogs.
• Manage Bakery Pans : Ensure empty baking pans are correctly routed back to the start of the production line for re-filling. 
• Visual Product Inspection: Actively inspect baked goods for defects, sticking, or tearing, immediately removing damaged or non-conforming items from the production line.
• Clear Bottlenecks & Jams: Act quickly to resolve misaligned pans, conveyor jams, or mechanical bottlenecks to prevent production line shutdowns 
• Temperature Requirements: The work area is located adjacent to industrial commercial ovens and is consistently hot.
• Physical Stamina: Candidates must be able to stand and walk on hard surfaces for the full duration of 8 to 10-hour shifts.
• Lifting & Movement: Involves repetitive bending, twisting, reaching, and frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.                  Experience: Previous experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing, industrial bakery, or warehouse production environment is preferred.                                                                                                                                      Reliability: Exceptional punctuality and attendance history; commitment to meeting team production schedules.
