Your role as a Location Manager As a Location Manager, your day‑to‑day responsibilities include overseeing rental operations to ensure a seamless customer experience. You will manage staff schedules, train new team members, and conduct performance evaluations to maintain high service standards. Engaging with customers to address inquiries and resolve issues will be a key part of your role. You will also be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, coordinating vehicle maintenance, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Regularly analyzing operational metrics and implementing strategies to optimize efficiency will be crucial in aligning with our core values of problem‑solving and integrity. Proficiency in inventory management software is essential, as you will oversee daily inventory and update the status of idle and out‑of‑service vehicles. Effective communication skills are crucial for responding promptly to email requests and coordinating with vendors for vehicle repairs and maintenance. Attention to detail is a must for maintaining accurate records of the rental fleet, including repair orders and vehicle transfers. You should also be adept at problem‑solving, as you'll need to monitor overdue rentals and take appropriate action. Familiarity with safety protocols is necessary for managing non‑rentable vehicles and ensuring timely venting for repairs. A collaborative spirit will help you assist with the vehicle cycle and support your team in enhancing customer service. Knowledge And Skills Required For The Position Are Oversee the daily inventory of all vehicles Update the status of all idle and out‑of‑service vehicles daily Monitor overdue rentals and take action as needed Help with the movement of vehicles when needed Ensure non‑rentable vehicles are vented for repair in a timely manner Respond promptly to all email requests Assist with the retrieval and de‑listing of vehicles Coordinate transfer of cars needing repair and/or maintenance to the respective vendor or facility Assist with all aspects of the vehicle cycle (car arriving at the location/turning back at the end of the cycle). Assist with pulling cars with safety recalls out of service. Maintain an accurate status of the rental fleet Research any inconsistencies Perform other duties as specified by management to enhance and better serve our customer base Will you join our team?
