Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency care and be able to handle a fast-paced environment with confidence and professionalism.

Position Information:

• Unit: Emergency Department
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend or as needed
• Call Requirements: As needed

Required Certifications:

• ACLS
• BLS
• NRP
• PALS
• TNCC

Experience and Qualifications:

• Years of Experience: 1+ year in emergency care
• Required Education: Valid RN licensure in the state

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: 7, plus 2 psych rooms and 2 hall beds
• Patient Ratios: 5:1
• EHR: EDIS
• Patient Population: Serves all ages

• Must possess relevant experience in emergency care.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and work collaboratively with the team.
• Listens well and communicates effectively with patients and staff.
• Demonstrates calmness in chaotic situations and a willingness to learn.
• Engages in positive team dynamics, supports colleagues, and contributes to process improvements.

Dress Code:

• Scrub Color: Any
• Acceptable Attire: Scrubs and appropriate footwear
• Unacceptable Attire: Logos/prints other than hospital logo, hoodies, open-toed shoes, t-shirts (except on designated days), and jewelry that poses safety risks.
