Workers' Compensation Assistant
Under the supervision of the Supervising Workers' Compensation Consultant (SWCC), the Workers' Compensation Assistant is responsible for the payments and benefits that are paid to claimants. The Workers' Compensation Assistant (WCA) will learn and perform analytical and technical tasks of average difficulty related to the Subsequent Injuries Benefits Trust Fund (SIBTF) processes in order to meet the needs of the SIBTF Unit in an efficient and effective manner. Additionally, they are responsible for the Tax ID information, and will work with the public to answer inquiries. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
