We are looking for an energetic and friendly Server / Sandwich Maker to join our team! If you love great food, fast-paced environments, and making customers smile, this is the perfect opportunity for you. Come be part of a crew that takes their sandwiches seriously — and has a great time doing it.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner at the counter
• Prepare and build made-to-order sandwiches, subs, and deli items with speed and accuracy
• Take customer orders in-person and ensure order accuracy
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation throughout the shift
• Handle cash and point-of-sale transactions accurately
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times
• Restock ingredients, condiments, and supplies as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience in food service, deli, or counter service preferred but not required
• Strong customer service skills with a positive, outgoing attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one

Brooklyn Pickle Sandwich Shop (est. 1975), is one of Central New York's iconic sandwich shops known for piling it high and keeping it delicious. Customers keep coming back for the bold flavors, generous portions, and the kind of friendly service that feels like home. Our team members enjoy a fun, supportive work environment where good food and good people come together every day.

In 2023, Brooklyn Pickle began opening in North Carolina including Southern Pines, Raleigh and Charlotte with more locations coming soon!  We are already a local favorite stop for fresh, delicious sandwiches, salads and homemade daily specials, served with a friendly smile.

Schedule: Operational hours are Mon - Fri: 10 AM to 4 PM (closed on weekends).  We are currently seeking part-time candidates with open weekday availability between 10 AM to close (approximately 4:45 PM).  We offer flexible scheduling with cross-training to potentially grow into full-time positions. 

Pay: $13–$16/hour, based on experience (plus tips and bonuses)
