Medical Science Liaison - Cardiovascular Metabolic - Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire

Amgen seeks a Medical Science Liaison to engage cardiometabolic opinion leaders and healthcare decision-makers across Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire. The role focuses on communicating clinical and scientific data, supporting payers and healthcare systems, and advancing the company's cardiovascular-metabolic portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Engage cardiometabolic opinion leaders and healthcare decision-makers to communicate clinical and scientific data aligned with organizational goals
• Educate payers, providers, healthcare systems, and formulary committees on clinical value, outcomes, and economic data
• Provide medical support to payers and integrated delivery networks; serve as primary contact for prioritized accounts
• Implement scientific engagement and opinion leader plans according to annual MSL goals and metrics
• Support Amgen-sponsored research, investigator-sponsored studies, and congress activities; mentor new MSL staff

Requirements

• Doctorate degree, or Master's degree with 3+ years Medical Affairs experience, or Bachelor's degree with 5+ years Medical Affairs experience
• PharmD, PhD, MD, or DO preferred
• 5+ years industry experience in Scientific or Medical Affairs at biotech or pharmaceutical company preferred
• Two or more years clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research experience preferred
• Cardiometabolic expertise preferred
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex clinical and economic data effectively
