An Am Law 200 firm is seeking an associate with 3–6 years of experience to join its Atlanta office. The ideal candidate will have significant litigation experience, including taking depositions, attending court hearings, and drafting and arguing motions. Experience analyzing insurance coverage and preparing coverage opinions involving third-party property and general liability matters is also required. Strong research and writing skills, along with excellent academic credentials, are essential. Admission to the Georgia Bar is required. The firm is an internationally recognized leader in insurance coverage and claims, with more than 100 dedicated coverage attorneys across 15 offices. Its coverage team handles complex matters for insurance industry clients throughout the United States and internationally. The practice represents primary and excess insurers, reinsurers, third-party administrators, managing general agents, insurance brokers and agents, and independent adjustment companies. Attorneys within the group have experience spanning virtually every line of business. Practice areas include Bad Faith, Casualty & Specialty Lines Coverage, Professional Liability Insurance Coverage, Property, and Strategic Risk & Complex Litigation. The salary range for this position is $190,000–$205,000 and reflects the firm’s good faith estimate of potential compensation at the time of posting.
