Food Runner / Expeditor

Join our dynamic team at Solage, Auberge Collection, as a Food Runner / Expeditor. In this key role, you'll play a vital part in our guests' experience by swiftly and precisely ensuring the smooth delivery of delectable orders from the kitchen to their tables, ensuring they have an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring communication in the kitchen between the front of house and back of house teams by calling out orders, getting the status on dishes, and calling the waitstaff to serve completed dishes.
• Ensuring that all orders are completed accurately, in time, and with the correct priority.
• Performing the finishing touches to completed dishes, such as adding garnishes and removing smudges.
• Assisting servers, bartenders, and guests in the dining experience, taking orders and delivering requested items in an efficient and timely manner.
• Relating with guests about needs, satisfaction with the beverage and drinks, ensuring a consistently caring and high-quality service.
• Operating, maintaining, and properly cleaning all restaurant equipment and fittings.
• Ensuring that the expediting area and restaurant outlets are tidy, organized, and well stocked at all times.
• Ensuring food is served in accordance with safety standards (e.g. proper temperature).
• Checking in with guests upon delivery of dishes and ensuring they have everything they need, as needed.

The starting pay rate for this position is $17.90 per hour plus tips. This is the pay rate for this position that Solage reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual pay will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in customer service or a similar role, in a luxury setting, is preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
• Ability to communicate in English.
