Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

An interview may not be available prior to offer. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job being applied to.

Required Skills/Experience: - Prior floating experience required (float pool shifts, other facilities, and/or floating to other floors/units).

Preferred Skills/Experience: - High-acuity experience preferred.

Special Requests: - Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.

Unit Details: - Medical, surgical, neuro, and cardiac patient population. - Assignments are 1-2 depending on acuity; may be 1-3 when acuity is lower or patients have transfer orders. - Titration of drips is required; common drips include Epi, Norepi, Dobutamine, Propofol, Esmolol, Hydromorphone, Midazolam, and CIS. - Uses vents, high flow, BiPAP, CPAP, Phillips monitors, and Cerner. - At least 1 monitor tech; RNs read strips. - Charge/resource nurses are free and do not take assignments. - Nurse aides are available, usually 1-2 depending on daily census. - Assignments are created by the charge RN; RNs choose assignments.

Shift & Scheduling: - Self-scheduling available. - 3 weekend shifts per schedule. - Holidays as required. - No call.

Floating Requirements: - Floats within Critical Care Unit, Observation, Med Surg, General Surgery, Ortho Surgery, Short Stay Surgery, Thoracic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Oncology, Telemetry, and Progressive Care.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months
