Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Career Opportunity Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner career opportunity. This opportunity is with a reputable & well established private medical practice, "Pain Management", based in Greater LA. Irvine is located within easy commuting distance of 4 clinics. SORRY, WILL NOT CONSIDER A NEW GRAD. You will be working with a Double Board Certified physician. The support staff is professional, efficient & respectful. There are 2 clinics that you would work at, both very convenient to Irvine. Qualifications Experience related to caring for patients with musculoskeletal issues Experience in Orthopedics, Pain Medicine, Neurology, Rheumatology, Sports Medicine, or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Experience in caring for patients with chronic conditions Active California NP or PA license Active DEA registration Role Responsibilities Base salary varies with experience. The practice tries to get each APP to earn at least $140K per year, with base salary + bonus. Experienced pain APPs can earn $170K or more. APPs are taught, if needed, to do Trigger Point and various Joint Injections, prescribe DME, refer patients to Board Certified Pain Physicians for Advanced Spine procedures, give a thorough musculoskeletal medical evaluation, and correct prescribing per CDC Guidelines. Monday - Friday schedule, no call Must be willing to cover some days in other clinics, just as providers in other clinics will be required to cover your clinic when you are using PTO (team environment) Opportunity to learn and grow professionally Work Schedule Monday - Friday No evenings, no weekends, and no holidays
