Molding Team Operator-2nd Shift

divh2Molding Team Operator/h2pThe Molding Team Operator is responsible for setting molds, making process adjustments and operating more complex molding machines to produce high quality assemblies and insert molded tubing. Follow specific procedures and recordkeeping requirements on multiple machines./ph3Essential Duties Responsibilities/h3ulliTake process parameter readings; perform testing per applicable documentation./liliPerform audits to establish cutoff points for nonconforming product./liliComplete nonconformance and hold documentation as required./liliPull required inspection samples as totes of molded components are completed./liliCreate trace, container labels and pallet sheets. Scan bar-coded labels into system./liliEnsure changeover paperwork is completed with proper information./liliPerform initial and alternate disposition of product. Move to appropriate staging area./liliAssist in the training of new Operators (OJT)./liliMaintain 5S standards in assigned work areas./liliModel company values and support strategic initiatives./liliInspect multiple types of parts against specifications and communicate issues with machine to responsible Technician./liliThis position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including knowledge of all standards, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes related to the site)./liliEngage others, promote and participate in Environmental, Health and Safety initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement./liliPerform other related duties as assigned or required./li/ulh3Knowledge Skills/h3ulliGood Verbal and written communication skills./liliAbility to multitask throughout the shift./liliKnowledge/use of computers./liliAdequate fine motor hand coordination required./liliSound judgment for use in product disposition./li/ulh3Minimum Qualifications, Education Experience/h3ulliMust be at least 18 years of age/liliHigh School Diploma or GED required./liliEducation requirements may be obtained through an educational institution or gained through equivalent work experience./liliLess than 1 year of experience; manufacturing background preferred./li/ulh3Work Environment/h3ulliWork involves use of manufacturing equipment or close proximity to equipment.
