Position: Quality Inspector Pay: $19/hour Location: Monroe, NC Hours: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:00pm Evaluation to Hire Opportunity AUnion County small business with over 30 years in operation, seeking a motivated individual to work independently. The role requires attention to detail and basic Excel skills. Key Responsibilities: Inspect and test raw materials to identify quality issues before they enter production. Perform visual inspections for labels, packaging, and contaminants on incoming materials and finished products. Assist in testing materials using equipment for tests such as extruder strip bend, melt flow, bulk density and compression tests. Inspect finished goods daily from productionlines. Operate lab extruder and prepare samples for testing. Maintain, calibrate, and clean lab equipment and the quality lab area. Track and store samples, and maintain inventory and test results. Manage documentation related to raw materials and finished goods quality. Quarantine and label rejected materials and issue rejection reports. Operate a forklift to move material Pull pellets out to weigh and test This position requires a strong eye for detail, ability to work independently, and basic proficiency in Excel.
