Big Smiles Missouri , a school-based mobile dental practice, is seeking a Dental Assistant/Expanded Functions Dental Assistant Team Lead in St. Louis, MO and surrounding areas to help provide dental care to underserved children at their school, working full-time.

Our innovative in school dental program offers something different than a traditional dental practice. With a workday that ends with the school day and no nights or weekends, our program is perfect for people looking for a diverse and different working environment, working parents and anyone who wants to make a difference in the dental field.

Dental Assistant Qualifications:

• X-ray License
• Digital X-ray Imaging experience
• Coronal Polishing (preferred, not required)
• CPR certified
• Work experience as a Dental Assistant
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and willing to travel
• Works well with children
• Organized, detail-oriented and able to multi-task
• Team player and able to work on a small team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Dental Assistant Responsibilities:

• Dental Assisting Services during mobile dental clinics
• Digital X-ray Imaging
• Patient Records Charting
• Equipment Set-up, Breakdown, and Sterilization Assistance
• Travel Daily to and from school sites

Team Lead Requirements/Responsibilities:

• Responsible for driving company vehicle
  Must be at least 21 years old
  Must be willing to travel daily
  Ability to meet deadlines and arrive on-time each day
  Reliable, organized, punctual
  Computer skills - Microsoft office applications
  Great people skills - ability to communicate with Adults & Children
  Must have valid drivers license, clean driving record
  Order supplies, sterilizing instruments, spore testing
  Responsible for back office duties
  Keep van & equipment in good condition
