Description This position will fill a key role in priority projects in support of the New York State Office of Mental Health’s mission. It is responsible for development and support for the Safe Act reporting application in accordance with documented requirements. The candidate will also be responsible for system design, unit testing and troubleshooting bugs and incidents, and will assist in the development of technical documentation and support materials. Duties Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC) Use Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 or higher and write code using MVC Architecture, .Net, JavaScript, Angular, Ajax, HTML, XML and WCF Prepare scripts to create and modify Oracle tables, create indexes, constraints, triggers, views, etc., code stored procedures and packages, and migrate data when necessary Diagnose and troubleshoot various rules, calculations, and data issues on application reports using Crystal Reports Mentor and assist other programmers, providing guidance for debugging, troubleshooting, securing and deploying applications, data access, data communications and system architecture configurations Use a source code repository (e.g., Tortoise SVN/Visual SVN or TFS) for version control Work within the IT Service Management System to intake incidents and service requests for the application Coordinate service requests with ITS personnel for releases and changes Diagnose and debug production issues reported via ITSM and escalate as necessary Report status of tasks and outstanding issues to supervisor Mandatory Requirements Experience (12+ Years) Develops and implements applications and programs for backend processing systems Requirements This is 100% Onsite 84 Months Experience using Microsoft Visual Studio to develop/maintain applications in C# and/or ASP.NET 84 Months Experience with Oracle 11G or higher and writing SQL and PL/SQL queries, updates, stored procedures, functions and cursors, and Oracle SQL query optimization 84 Months Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) integration including development of secure .NET web-services using WCF, message processing, and an Enterprise Service Bus 84 Months Experience interpreting and analyzing business requirements and implementing corresponding logic 48 months Experience BizTalk Configuration/Deployment (BizTalk 2010 or later) in a multi-server environment 24 months Experience handling Health Care data under HIPAA PHI 12 months experience with Git Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Engineering and Information Technology Industries: Software Development #J-18808-Ljbffr Sligo Software Solutions Inc.
