Conduct testing as defined by Mechanical Engineers. ***Duties and Responsibilities***: + Use LabVIEW & Matlab to control a test system and the collection and analysis of data. + Enhance testing using LabView and Matlab programming and by implementing new design elements. + Create software routines used for quality control. + Enhance image analysis techniques + Responsible for other laboratory duties. + Perform thermal finite element analyses (FEA).**Essential Knowledge and Skills:*** Enrolled in Mechanical Engineering program* Must have completed the following courses:* All core Mech Eng Courses* Experimental Analysis* LabVIEW programing* Matlab programming* Desired to have completed the following courses:* Heat Transfer* Thermodynamics* Fluid Mechanics* Machine Design* Numerical Analysis / Finite Element Analysis* Statics* Good interpersonal and cooperation skills* Computer skills needed: LabVIEW, Matlab, Programming (C#, Java, SQL, C++, or other), MS Office, 3D CAD (Solidworks or Inventor), FEA (ANSYS, Solidworks, etc)* Have the ability to work independently + Enrolled in Mechanical Engineering program* ***Education and Experience***:## ***Compensation:***Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:$47,243 - $74,675Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment.
