Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel Cath Lab Technologist for a travel job in Kingsport, Tennessee.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist\n Discipline: Allied Health Professional\n Start Date: 10/11/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 10 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Days, 4x10hrs\n Hours: 40 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 11, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist requiring at least 1 year of experience and the ability to scrub EP devices and complex interventional cases.Details\n \n Work in a diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab\n Performs both diagnostic and complex interventional cardiac cases, with EP experience preferred and structural heart experience a plus\n Scrubs EP devices including pacemakers, ICDs, and Micras\n Uses Siemens Sensis/Epic and Philips systems\n 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM\n Call requirement of 1 to 2 nights per week and 2 weekends within a 6-week period\n Requirements\n \n Minimum of 1 year of experience in a cardiac cath lab setting\n Current ACLS, BLS, ARRT (R), and CCI RCIS certifications required\n AHA certifications only accepted\n License required if applicable and must be active and in-hand at time of consideration\n BSN required for international travelers\n Skilled in diagnostic and left/right heart catheterizations, PCI, PTCA, IABP placement/removal, rotablator atherectomy, and cardiac stent and closure device placement\n Able to interpret dysrhythmias and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias\n Proficient in scrub and circulator roles, maintaining sterile field, and infection control/isolation precautions\n Experience caring for middle adult and older adult patient populations\n Facial hair must be trimmed or removed to meet CDC fit testing guidelines\n Additional Information\n \n General orientation begins on Mondays, with the first day consisting of online computer-based learning modules\n Orientation modules are non-billable, averaging 4-5 hours, and completed via electronic transcripts\n Candidates must be willing to complete a drug test within 12-14 calendar days prior to start and avoid scheduling other engagements during this window\n Candidates should be prepared to repeat lab testing a second time if needed\n First-time travelers are not accepted\n Candidates must reside 100 miles or more from the facility, as local candidates are not accepted\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-747402.
