Data Analyst, SeniorThe Consultative Support and Project Management team provides analytical support for provider contract negotiations and oversees competitive intelligence data for the organization. In this role, you will partner cross-functionally with Actuary, Network Compliance, Contracting Network Managers, and other Provider Network stakeholders to evaluate the health, performance, and strategic positioning of contracted entities. You will analyze utilization, financial, regulatory, and market trends; investigate anomalies; and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that support network planning, contract strategy, and business decision-making. We are looking for leaders that are energized by creative and critical thinking, building and sustaining high-performing teams, getting results the right way, and fostering continuous learning.ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:Develop and conduct evaluations and studies within limited time frames and produce analyses that are easy for non-technical persons to understandAssist in identifying systems and operational problems and recommend solutions and changes to streamline procedures for more effective reportingInteract with internal and external customers to define complex reporting needs and specifications; design and implement complex report programming according to specificationsPresent effectively to internal and external customers on analytics/reports/presentations that are critical for their business continuity and decision makingParticipate in internal and external task forces and committees to provide analytical insights and support for implementation of new programs, applications, products and services and enhancement of existing applications/systemsDevelop dossiers for provider negotiations including analyses of financial, regulatory, and quality performanceLead and manage projects that may involve coordinating a team and working with different stakeholdersManage reporting and dashboards in support of SVP network planning including data validation, testing, and documentationIdentify and implement areas for process improvement and automationComplete Ad Hoc assignments as requestedQualificationsIn this role, you will need:A Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree. Master's Degree (MPH, MBA, MS, or MA) is preferred5 years of experience in Health Care (managed care, academic, or gov't payer)Experience with MS Office, especially Excel and Access, Unix, SQL/PL-SQL, SAS. SAS Base and advanced certification is preferredFamiliarity with visualization tools such as TableauStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, previous experience in presenting to leadersPractical knowledge of project management is preferredThis role requires employees to be in-office based on our hybrid workplace model, balancing purposeful in-person collaboration with flexibility. For most teams, this means coming into the office two days each week.
