- Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and design personalized therapy approaches to help them reach their functional objectives
- Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Leverage evidence-based interventions to support improvements in patients' motor skills, cognitive function, and daily living activities
- Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work hand-in-hand with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nurses to ensure holistic and comprehensive patient care
- Guide Patients and Caregivers: Equip patients and their families with knowledge on therapy methods to bolster continuous improvement at home
- Track Progress and Adjust Plans: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment strategies as necessary, ensuring that patients stay on the right path
- Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Encouragement and support for ongoing education or post-graduate certifications
- Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required
- A strong passion for enhancing others' lives and a genuine drive to help them regain their utmost independence
- Ability to communicate with empathy and clarity, both with patients and team members
- Creative problem-solving skills to tailor treatment goals to meet various patient needs
