(Scroll down after clicking this link) Qualifications Bachelor's degree Valid Texas Teaching Certification with required endorsements* One of the following endorsements is required for this vacancy: Generalist (EC - 4) or (EC - 6)Teacher of Young Children - GeneralEarly Childhood (PK - 3)Elementary (PK - 6)Core Subjects (EC - 6)KindergartenCore Subjects with Science of Teaching Reading (EC - 6) AND One of the following endorsements is required for this vacancy: English as a Second Language Supplemental All Early Childhood teachers must hold ESL certification. AND All Early Childhood Teachers must also meet one of the following: a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or another early childhood education credential approved by the agency; certification offered through a training center accredited by Association Montessori Internationale or through the Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education; at least eight years' experience of teaching in a nationally accredited child care program; be employed as a prekindergarten teacher in a school district that has received approval from the commissioner for the district's prekindergarten-specific instructional training plan that the teacher uses in the teacher's prekindergarten classroom; or an equivalent qualification. #J-18808-Ljbffr Garland Independent School District
