Job Overview Requisition Number: 27984 Required Travel: 0 - 10% Employment Type: Full Time/Salaried/Exempt Anticipated Salary Range: - $185,000.00 Security Clearance: TS/SCI Level of Experience: Senior This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS) , a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems. HII works within our nation’s intelligence and cyber operations communities to defend our interests in cyberspace and anticipate emerging threats. Our capabilities in cybersecurity, network architecture, reverse engineering, software and hardware development uniquely enable us to support sensitive missions for the U.S. military and federal agency partners. Essential Job Responsibilities Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. Minimum Qualifications 5 years relevant experience with Bachelor’s in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Master’s in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience. 5+ years implementing, operating, and maintaining an enterprise-level virtualization system backed by Microsoft, Nutanix, or VmWare. 5+ years implementing, operating, and maintaining an enterprise-level storage system backed by Nutanix, AWS, Microsoft, Netapp, Dell EMC, and Linux +. Active TS clearance w/ SCI eligibility required to start, candidate must be willing and able to obtain and maintain an active CI Poly once hired. Preferred Requirements Nutanix Certified Advanced Professional or similar vendor technical certification in storage, virtualization, or data protection (Nutanix preferred. Microsoft, VmWare, NetApp, AWS, Azure accepted) Experience in the operations, maintenance, and best practices of Nutanix ECP solutions focusing on Acropolis, AHV, Prism, Calm, Files, Flow, Era, Volumes, and Objects. Physical Requirements Office, industrial, or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Lifting and moving materials may be required.
