Assistant Commissary Bakery ManagerNino Salvaggio is currently looking for an Assistant Commissary Bakery Manager for our Troy location to work overnight.Responsibilities:Assist in directing and supervising all functions and activities of the bakery, including production, scoring, gross profit, quality and labor goals established for the department.Assist with directing workflow within the bakery and coordinate activities involved with production.Assist with the implementation of new recipes and products.Develop associates within departments through training, supervision, delegation and appropriate rewards and discipline.Train and supervise associates on the safe and proper usage of all equipment in the department.Follow approved procedures for price marking, dating and restocking cases to ensure quality and product rotation.Check and verify department merchandise received to ensure that all items listed on vendor invoices are delivered according to quality standards.Assist Commissary Manager with ordering and inventory control to ensure freshness, product quality.Maintain good communications throughout the organization.Ensure favorable department image by emphasizing a clean, sanitary, attractive and friendly department.Assist with department reports, administrative duties, surveys and paperwork, etc.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED, required.Six months related baking experience, required.Previous management experience required.Must have reliable transportation.Must be able to work overnights and weekends.
