Athletics Travel Manager, NCAA Ground Transportation

The Role The Ground Transportation Account Manager position is primarily responsible for sourcing, contracting, and managing motorcoach transportation needs for the Anthony Travel/On Location NCAA Ground Transportation program. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports, transportation, and event management, provide outstanding customer service, and be an enthusiastic professional. This person must possess the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, anticipate event needs, and meet deadlines with minimal supervision. They will need to be confident in negotiating terms and contracting sales with motorcoach vendors. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Solicit, review, and confirm motorcoach quotes. Maintain proactive vendor communication. Manage numerous concurrent trip needs and communications. Provide 24/7 support in select time periods. Create excellent collaboration and communication with all partners in the program. Oversee post-trip invoice completion and resolve discrepancies. Other duties as needed. Travel Must be adaptable with work and travel schedule, and be available to travel for work, which may include extended work hours during nights, weekends, and holidays. This position will require less than 10% travel. Required Education And/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel. Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Flexibility and adaptability in a changing environment. Positive attitude with a strong team-oriented mindset. Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism when interacting with clients, partners, and representing Anthony Travel. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of experience in operations, travel, or ground transportation environments.
