Supply Technician

Duties As a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN, GS-2005-7, you will perform routine and non-routine material coordination duties for special programs, maintenance, or production shops; be responsible for local management of decentralized and decontrolled items which require technical intervention to assure effective supply support and economy; be responsible for limited aspects of storage management; perform other duties as assigned. You may be required to successfully complete a 1- or 2- year probation/trail period to assess performance, conduct, agency needs, public interest, and efficiency. Employment ends unless certified in writing that it advances the agencies interest.

Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.

This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position.

Qualifications SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE : 12 months 1 year equivalent experience to at least next lower grade level. Education You must provide transcripts to support your educational claims. To receive credit for education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the education requirements for this position.
