Key Responsibilities:

• Uphold patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Utilize standard dental radiographic equipment to capture patient radiographs.
• Verify and document patient health history accurately in the patient's chart.
• Apply preventive materials like fluorides and sealants to the teeth.
• Perform additional duties per practice and/or state laws, including oral cancer screenings and the fabrication of whitening trays through alginate impressions.

Qualifications:

• Valid Dental Hygienist License with a minimum of an Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene.
• Stay current with required trainings as mandated by law.
• Proficiency in Dentrix software is required
• Certification for additional duties as mandated by the state practice act.
