Our technicians play an important role in delivering medication and pharmaceutical care in communities that are most in need. This includes developing close relationships with patients in communities we serve and assisting the pharmacists in accurately preparing and delivering prescription medication./ppThis position is located at Orange City Area Health System Outpatient Hospital. Pharmacy Hours: Monday - Thursday 8:00AM - 6:30PM, Friday 8:00AM - 5:00PM./ph3Responsibilities:/h3ulliMaintain professional working relationships at all times, with the pharmacy personnel, physicians, nurses, and other medical personnel./liliUnderstand that the requirements of working in a pharmacy are varied and may change as demands on the department change./liliBe available to the customer/patients at all times./liliMaintain friendly and helpful attitude at all times when dealing with customers./liliMaintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations./liliOrganizes medications for pharmacist to dispense by profiling prescriptions; preparing labels and calculating quantities/liliEnsures medication availability by delivering medications to patients and ordering when needed/liliContributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed/liliWorks with pharmacy team to ensure best practices are being followed with regards to 340B/li/ulh3Qualifications:/h3ulliHigh school degree or equivalent, preferred/liliRegistration in state in which the position is located (if applicable)/liliPTCB Certification or ability to get certified within 180 days of employment/liliAt least 2 years with retail pharmacy technician related experience/lili340B experience preferred/liliVendor credentialing may be required/li/ulpAnticipated hourly range: $16.40 per hour - $21.15 per hour/ppBenefits: 401k Contributions, Paid Time Off, Access to wages before pay day with myFlexPay/ppApplication window anticipated to close: 06/07/2026*if interested in opportunity, please submit application as soon as possible./ppThe hourly range listed is an estimate.
