Position Overview

We’re seeking an experienced Paralegal with a strong foundation in legal work who is excited about wearing multiple hats and growing their professional portfolio. This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and isn’t afraid to explore new areas of business operations while leveraging their paralegal expertise.

This role is not a traditional paralegal position. In addition to your legal responsibilities, you will actively work alongside non-legal business units — gaining hands-on exposure to a completely different industry and operational environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage case files and legal documentation with paralegal proficiency
  • Collect and review medical records, including creating medical treatment timeline summaries
  • Prepare case demands, mediation statements, trial binders, and exhibits
  • Assist in drafting Pleadings, Motions, and Orders
  • Draft and answer Discovery, Interrogatories, and Production Requests
  • Handle administrative and operational tasks across departments outside of legal
  • Support various business initiatives and expand into new operational areas
  • Collaborate across teams with diverse focuses and specialties
  • Maintain attention to detail and organizational excellence across all areas of responsibility

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of paralegal experience, with at least 2 years in a law firm setting handling civil and/or criminal litigation
  • Proven ability to independently manage the full lifecycle of legal documentation and case preparation
  • Genuine enthusiasm for stepping outside the legal world and learning new industries
  • Comfort with ambiguity and the confidence to take on responsibilities that may feel unfamiliar at first
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and collaborative across teams with very different functions
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
