Cardiac Monitor Technician

Responsibilities Responsible for identifying basic normal rhythms/dysrhythmias and lethal arrhythmias, reporting these findings to the appropriate personnel and labeling and mounting rhythm strips. Qualifications Certification: None EMT or EKG Certification preferred Must successfully complete a comprehensive, four-week internship program that includes in-person classroom instruction at our hospital in Lutz. As a part of this training, you will attend classroom instruction twice a week at the Lutz campus. Travel assistance can be arranged if transportation to the Lutz campus presents challenges. Must be able to pass an exam identifying basic rhythms after training.
