Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (11:00 AM – 11:00 PM) | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week | Every Other Weekend as Needed

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 14-bed Emergency Room setting serving all patient populations including pediatric, adult, and geriatric
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4–5, delivering timely and accurate assessments and interventions
• Operate and monitor patients using Baxter infusion pumps and Spacelabs cardiac monitors
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using the MedHost electronic health record system
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to manage a variety of emergency diagnoses and treatments
• Adhere to facility dress code requirements wearing solid-color scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Virginia or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Proficiency with MedHost EHR system
• Ability to work every other weekend as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior trauma nursing experience strongly preferred
• Flexible and adaptable personality well-suited for a fast-paced emergency environment
• Experience working in a travel or contract nursing capacity
