Maintain a positive attitude around all team members, setting the mood for that shift. To inspect make-ups turn downs and cleaned rooms to make sure that the standards have been met.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Run the day-to-day reports for the team and be able to clarify reports, as neededHold lineups with your team covering the # of guest rooms currently occupied, # of arrival rooms, and departure rooms, # of turnovers, make-ups, and check in’s / turnoversCoordinate in-room guest requestsReview groups currently in house and their agenda to ensure all needs are metInspecting common areas on a daily basisOversee completion of all room make-ups, turnovers, and turndowns perform final inspections after rooms have been cleanedLoad stocker cart with daily supplies such as sheets, towels, toilet paper, amenities, glasses, coffee cups, hangersAssist in cleaning check out, stay-over, or turndown rooms as necessary to assist the teamAssist with quarterly inventories as necessaryWrite and disseminate all Mid-Year and End of Year reviews to all team membersWorking all holidays and weekends as scheduledMust comply with all company policies and procedures.To perform the essential functions of this position regular and consistent attendance is required.Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers, and interact with our guests.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESFollow up on team member status of rooms/ assignmentsGuide housekeepers to maintain 5-star standards for all roomsBe a positive motivator to the teamCoach and counsel team members as necessary, including written documentation if applicableComplete 45-day reviews for all new hires as well as mid, and end-of-year reviews, as neededEnsure Housekeepers understand their room assignments, and rooms are completed promptlyEnsure efficiency by coordinating housekeeper's schedules based on needsWork closely with the front desk on arrivals and changesBasic understanding of labor numbersMust be available to work both AM and PM shiftsEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHospitality experience or equivalent preferredHigh School diploma or equivalentCOMPUTER SKILLSBasic computer knowledgeMust have a working understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Word and ExcelLANGUAGE SKILLSMust be able to communicate effectively with guests, managers, and team membersMATHEMATICAL SKILLSBasic knowledge and understanding of mathREASONING ABILITYMust be able to understand scheduling, purchasing, inventory, and stockMust be able to exercise judgment and make decisions based on job knowledge and awareness of company goalsPHYSICAL DEMANDSMust be able to stand for long periodsMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditionsMust be able to safely operate a company vehicle or golf cartWORK ENVIRONMENTGeneral OfficeWorking in guest rooms and common areas of the propertyMay occasionally be asked to go outside in all weather conditions #J-18808-Ljbffr Blackberry Farm, LLC
