Role You’ll be a go‑to senior lawyer for complex insurance defense matters across Texas, acting as first chair on a busy but manageable docket. Typical work will include: Defending high‑exposure cases involving trucking, auto, and premises liability (and related insured risks). Managing files from intake through resolution: strategy, pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motion practice, ADR, and trial when appropriate. Advising insurers and self‑insureds on risk, exposure, and resolution strategy. Collaborating with a tight‑knit team of experienced litigators and contributing to training/mentoring more junior attorneys. This is ideal if you want to stay hands‑on in litigation while stepping into a more senior, trusted‑advisor role.
