Job Title: Assessment Specialist Profession: Therapist Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Several options available Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred License: Current clinical, social work, or RN license required Certifications: BLS (AHA), Handle With Care certification (can be completed on site) Must-Have Skills/Experience: CPR certification Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) Description: The role involves performing assessments for patients in a behavioral health setting. Candidates should have experience working with psychiatric patients, including those with chemical dependency and dual diagnosis. The position is full-time with guaranteed weekly hours ranging from 36 to 40. Flexibility to work different shifts including nights and weekends is required. Experience in a psychiatric health care facility is preferred. The patient population primarily consists of adults. An Associate's Degree in Nursing or a Master's Degree in Social Work/Counseling is required. Candidates should be prepared to work in a collaborative environment with a focus on patient care. The dress code includes scrubs in any color, while business casual attire is not acceptable.
