Product Leader – Accounting and Credit Fund Administration About the Role As the product owner for fund accounting across private credit vehicles, you will define and execute the product vision, roadmap, and quarterly priorities to deliver world‑class fund accounting, waterfall and carry calculations, NAV production, fee processing, investor reporting, and regulatory compliance. Your Responsibilities Own the product vision, multi‑year roadmap, and quarterly priorities for fund accounting, waterfall and carry calculations, NAV production, fee calculations, investor reporting, and regulatory compliance. Drive strategic build/buy/partner decisions across proprietary platforms and vendor ecosystems. Translate complex regulatory and client requirements into clear product requirements and backlog items. Partner with Technology, Data, and Operations to deliver scalable, automated workflows for period close, valuations, allocations, and reconciliations. Establish and monitor product KPIs and operational controls, including close timeliness, error rates, rework percentages, SLA adherence, and audit findings. Lead vendor governance—including RFPs, vendor scorecards, release management, and SLA monitoring. Champion data quality and analytics enablement by defining golden data sources and enabling dashboarding capabilities. Operate as a general‑manager‑style product owner with outcome accountability, budget stewardship, and P&L awareness. Run quarterly planning cycles, set OKRs, and align product roadmaps to business strategy. Apply data‑driven prioritisation frameworks and maintain a transparent, well‑groomed product backlog. Champion controls‑by‑design, security, and operational resiliency throughout the product lifecycle. Your Profile Required Experience 10–15+ years in fund accounting, product management, or operations within private credit or alternative investments. 5+ years in product management, platform ownership, or strategic product leadership roles. Deep knowledge of NAV calculations, waterfall and carry mechanics, fee schedules, and regulatory frameworks (GAAP/IFRS/ILPA). Hands‑on experience with leading fund accounting platforms such as eFront, Geneva, Investran, Allvue, or FIS. Proven strategic build/buy/partner decision‑making, including vendor evaluations, RFPs, and contract management. Experience building a high‑performing, independent team to support product delivery. Strong data governance mindset with knowledge of data lineage, reconciliation frameworks, SOX compliance, and cycle optimisation. Collaborative partnership with Engineering, Data Science, and Operations teams; agile, OKR, and backlog management expertise. Executive presence, communication skills, and track record of presenting to senior leadership.
