CNC Machinist

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in high-quality components, is seeking a dedicated CNC Machinist to join their team. As a Sheet Metal Fabricator, you will be part of the Manufacturing Services department supporting production and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Seattle, WA

Pay Range: $38.00 to $42.00 per hour

What's the Job?

• Operate sheet metal fabrication equipment including laser cutters, waterjet cutters, plasma cutters, press brakes, PEM, and shears
• Load and unload materials safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling and organization
• Set up machines according to CNC programs and work instructions, monitoring operation for quality
• Inspect parts for dimensional accuracy, surface finish, and quality defects using measuring tools
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on fabrication equipment to ensure optimal performance

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of sheet metal fabrication experience or technical training
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions
• Proficiency with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
