Travel Physical Therapist - $2,586 per week

Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in Kermit, Texas. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Physical Therapist Discipline: Therapy Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians) as appropriate. Bill within the respective setting following guidelines for the facility. Interface with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a team-focused plan of care. Understand adaptive equipment and apply it where indicated. Evaluate and create a plan of care; modify the plan as indicated based on the patient\'s condition. Use Medical Center computer systems in daily tasks and provide timely, accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Qualifications Must have 6 months of experience; new grads are encouraged to apply. BLS certification and state-specific licensing required. Ability to stand and walk for long periods; ability to bend, lean, or stoop as needed. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. TotalMed Allied Job ID #.
