As a Preschool Teacher, you'll help children strengthen their early academic skills, language, independence, friendships, and confidence through purposeful play and hands-on learning experiences. Key Responsibilities Lead daily routines and learning experiences in a Preschool classroom Implement The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum Create engaging activities supporting early literacy, math, science, creativity, and social-emotional development Encourage independence, communication, problem-solving, and positive peer relationships Maintain consistent classroom routines and positive guidance Observe children's development and maintain required documentation Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families Collaborate with classroom support teachers and center leadership Maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment Follow New Jersey childcare licensing requirements Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Previous professional daycare, preschool, childcare, or early childhood experience preferred Preschool classroom experience is a plus CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus Strong classroom management and communication skills Dependable, nurturing, energetic, and team-oriented Ability to meet New Jersey childcare licensing requirements What We Offer Competitive pay of $18-$19 per hour Consistent full-time Monday-Friday schedule Paid training and professional development Employee childcare discount Supportive leadership and collaborative teaching environment Opportunities for professional growth and advancement #J-18808-Ljbffr The Learning Experience - Ledgewood
