Job Summary Seeking a Software Engineer to support all aspects of agile software development for a full featured service hosted on large scale compute clusters and AWS Cloud Infrastructure Primary Responsibilities Duties include development, testing and integration of capabilities, optimization & performance tuning, and operation & sustainment functions Responsible for evaluating project needs, determining tasks and durations, and reviewing designs for technical accuracy, completeness Required Qualifications Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required Bachelor’s degree in Math, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required Four (4) years of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree Experience with Large Language Models (LLM), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic AI Proficiency in using AWS SDKs and APIs Knowledge and skill in implementing and using observability tools (e.g. Elasticsearch, OpenSearch) Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform Expertise in Continuous Integration, Deployment, Testing and Monitoring practices Experience in Java programming for distributed systems, with experience in networking and multi-threading Experience with Agile development and tools with source code management practices Familiarity with microservices software development techniques and container-orchestration (Kubernetes) Knowledge of security and compliance best practices Desired Qualifications No desired qualifications listed at this time Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans.
