Medical Account Specialist II - NEUROLOGY - PHOENIX N, AZ

Overview The Rare Neurology Medical Account Specialist (MS) engages neurology specialists and key stakeholders across diverse care settings—academic centers, large group practices, IDNs, and community accounts—within an assigned geography. The MS delivers clinically focused messaging to drive revenue and achieve product goals, demonstrating strong ownership, initiative, and compliance. When & Where Field Based Location: Phoenix (North Metro), AZ Discover Your Role Engage rare neurology experts and other key customers within an assigned geography and deliver clinically focused selling messages to launch product, grow brand share, revenue, and consistently meet product goals. Partner with multiple stakeholders—including Reimbursement and Access Specialists—to proactively address customer needs, market dynamics and trends, and develop strategies that support brand and corporate objectives in the assigned territory. Build strong working relationships with customers, collaboration colleagues, and internal contacts such as clinics, physicians, nurses, additional healthcare providers, patient advocacy support groups, and trade partners. Conduct rare neurology–specific market profiling activities to understand regional and local healthcare delivery, influencers, and payer systems. Maintain deep knowledge of applicable customers and markets (prescribers/HCPs/institutions/organizations). Apply strategic account selling and management skills to develop comprehensive territory, account, and customer plans that drive desired objectives. Ensure all personnel in the account are educated on commercially available Regeneron products. Develop and execute tactics to establish, generate, and expand market share in key accounts. Proactively identify business opportunities with assigned accounts and lead coordination by the Regeneron Rare Neurology account team, including supports for contracting and pull‑through initiatives. Gain deep knowledge of each assigned account through internal research and proactive integration of information from stakeholders. This Role Requires Bachelor's degree mandatory; master’s degree or additional advanced education/certifications a plus. Minimum five years of successful experience in neurology sales and specialty/biologic/REMS products, preferred launch experience. Minimum two years of experience working with key thought leaders or high‑influence customers in large group practices, academic hospitals, or managed care organizations with a concentration in neurology. Proven success and a positive track record of consistent sales performance in complex markets with diverse customer segments while maintaining high integrity and compliance. Results‑oriented with a proven track record of success with product launches. Strong account management experience, analytical, problem‑solving, and planning skills. Current account management experience calling on large neurology group practices and/or integrated delivery networks. Solid understanding of the neurology therapeutic area and current marketplace.
