Job Description As a Security Officer Rounds with Active Clearance in Falls Church, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $25.24 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PMTue06:00 AM - 02:00 PMWed06:00 AM - 02:00 PMThur06:00 AM - 02:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and support site rules related to access control and property movement. Assist with daily operational routines, complete required reports, and communicate clearly with site leadership and/or Allied Universal teams regarding security-related activities. Minimum Requirements: An active DoD Secret Clearance is required. CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred. A current guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
