Work Environment
This position is a remote opportunity, allowing practitioners to work from the comfort of their own home or preferred environment while still being part of a proactive and engaging community of mental health professionals. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the mental health needs of children and adolescents.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the individual needs of clients.
- Provide direct psychotherapy services, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to ensure effective treatment.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians to discuss treatment approaches and share insights on client progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely case documentation and billing records in accordance with professional standards and policies.
- Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including attending workshops and obtaining continuing education units (CEUs).
- Participate in supervision and consultation sessions to enhance clinical skills and receive feedback.
Patient Population / Client Focus
The ideal candidate will focus primarily on children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges. Our client population often includes those dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. As a crucial member of our clinical team, the therapist will play a key role in supporting these young clients, fostering resilience, and promoting healthy coping skills.
Qualifications
- A Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field, coupled with a valid independent mental health license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) in Pennsylvania.
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience, particularly with children and adolescents, showcasing a robust understanding of developmental issues and mental health interventions.
- Proficiency in using technology for virtual therapy sessions and record-keeping, including electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- A proven history of professional development and commitment to enhancing therapeutic skills through continued education.
- A strong ability to work autonomously while also thriving in a collaborative team environment, rapidly building rapport with clients.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with a broad spectrum of clinical presentations and mental health disorders.
- Knowledge and experience in health psychology, addressing how physical health impacts mental well-being.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed care and culturally competent practices in therapy.
Compensation and Benefits
Mindful Changes Counseling offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, with the potential for performance-based bonuses. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan with employer contributions.
