A community hospital with approximately 150 beds is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to provide professional pharmacy services on a 13-week contract assignment. This role offers an opportunity to contribute your expertise in a hospital setting, supporting a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal medication management and patient care.

Location:

• Lewiston, Idaho (travel required)

Schedule:

• Variable days and afternoons working 8-hour shifts
• Potential option for 7-on/7-off with 10-hour day or afternoon shifts (preference for 8-hour shifts)

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow and compliance
• Consult with physicians and other healthcare providers regarding medication therapy
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles to optimize medication dosing and effectiveness
• Participate in clinical pharmacy activities to support patient outcomes

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacist license in Idaho or willingness and ability to obtain licensure promptly
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Strong communication and collaborative skills
• Positive, proactive attitude with a commitment to patient safety and quality care
• Ability to adapt within a fast-paced healthcare environment
