Laboratory Technician III
AbbVie
Laboratory Technician III performs microbiology testing in a GMP-regulated environment at a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, conducting analyses on environmental samples, raw materials, and products while maintaining compliance and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct laboratory testing methods for product and material release decisions
- Perform environmental monitoring activities according to required frequency and protocols
- Maintain GMP compliance in laboratory records, procedures, and documentation systems
- Support investigations and procedure revisions as directed by supervisor
- Ensure safe laboratory work environment for self and colleagues
Requirements
- Associate's degree minimum, preferably in chemistry, microbiology, or biology
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Current certifications required for assigned laboratory tasks
- Ability to work B2 shift: 5:45 PM–6:00 AM Wednesday–Friday and alternate Saturdays
- Proficiency in multiple laboratory techniques with minimal error rate
