Store Environment Team Member

Job Overview Store position in LONGVIEW, TX requiring high standards of cleanliness, customer service, and store presentation. Responsibilities Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures. Dust and mop floors using approved cleaning solutions. Move equipment and products to maintain proper cleaning and placement. Cleans assigned areas with designated materials and equipment, including mixing cleaning solutions where necessary. Deep clean key areas such as bathrooms, break rooms, entryways, and high‑traffic zones to maintain a safe environment. Maintain cleaning equipment orderly and notify supervisor of supply needs. Identify areas needing cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks. Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor and follow all federal, state, and county guidelines. Maintain positive, respectful interactions with team members and customers. Project a positive image and serve as a role model for other team members. Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience and handle cash to standards. Engage customers with the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Card enrollments. Assist with Omni‑channel processes including BOPIS and SFS. Participate in truck unload, stocking, and planogram processes. Support shrink and safety programs and adhere to SOPs and Company policies. Preferred Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to remain standing for long periods. Ability to move throughout the store. Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching. Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves using ladder or similar equipment. Work Environment Public retail store setting with climate‑controlled customer areas; some stock rooms may not be climate‑controlled. Occasional outdoor work retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks. Work hours may include nights, weekends, and early mornings. Use of commercial cleaners and chemicals in accordance with safety procedures.
