Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join our team in Browns Summit, NC. This role focuses on stainless steel fabrication and sub-assembly work in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong blueprint reading skills and experience working with thin gauge materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel components

• Work with 16 gauge – 20 gauge stainless steel materials

• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

• Complete fabrication and sub-assembly work according to specifications

• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently

• Inspect welds to ensure quality and accuracy

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Work collaboratively to meet production goals

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of TIG welding experience , preferably with stainless steel

• Experience with MIG welding

• Strong fabrication experience

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints

• Experience working with thin gauge stainless steel (16–20 gauge)

• High attention to detail and quality standards

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Welding certifications are a plus

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Browns Summit, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
