Job Title: Operating Room RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BLS Certification required Must-Have: Must be able to circulate independently and scrub as required Description: Seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years of experience. The role involves circulating in the Operating Room and scrubbing as required. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and must be able to handle a high volume of cases. The average number of cases per day ranges from 80 to 120. Experience with various service lines including Orthopedic, Neuro, Robotics, Bariatric, ENT, and Ophthalmology is preferred. Strong ambulatory experience will be considered a plus. Travelers are expected to take call and work some weekends, with potential for holiday call as well. There is a charge nurse available 24/7, and the role involves floating between different units depending on experience. Basic operating room equipment experience is required. Orientation will cover the necessary systems and protocols in place within the department. Candidates must present an unexpired copy of their driver's license as part of the application process.
