Maintenance Technician 2nd Shift

National Beef of North Baltimore, Ohio is looking for a qualified professional to join our Maintenance Team. The position is a maintenance technician on 2nd or 3rd shift, with a starting wage of $29 per hour plus a $1 hourly shift differential and a $2.50 hourly perfect attendance bonus paid weekly. Overtime is available after 40 hours per work week. Benefits Company‑paid life, short‑term disability and long‑term disability insurance 401(k) after 1 year with 100% match up to 4% of contribution Medical, dental and vision insurance effective the 1st day of the month following the first full month of employment (option to select a high‑deductible policy with flex spend or an HSA) Paid vacation, sick time and holidays Weekly payroll Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and building systems Rebuild, repair, and/or replace equipment and machinery Perform preventative maintenance, including lubrication and inspection Assist with the installation of equipment and machinery Troubleshoot, repair, and replace industrial electrical equipment—motors, drives, and controls Log work activities for equipment history, parts management and reporting Collaborate with management and other departments regarding maintenance issues throughout the facility Complete other duties as assigned Qualifications Mechanical skills and understanding of basic power transmission equipment Ability to use common hand tools Basic computer skills Willingness to work overtime and be punctual when scheduled Ability to read, write and speak English (preferred) Strong work ethic and attention to detail Excellent safety record with previous employer Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Industrial electrical controls experience Electrical experience in 480V and motor controls Industrial maintenance experience Refrigeration experience Allen Bradley PLC experience (a plus) Employment Eligibility Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
